I’ve been working on a few projects these last few weeks. And the first one I’m highlighting is part of a recent CAL I just finished. I actually made one for the CAL, and then followed up with a second one to give to a friend who is finding herself on a new adventure.
I really didn’t mean not to write for several weeks. I’ve just been caught up with life, which, honestly, is a good thing. I am also now bound and determined to conquer the art of crocheted clothing. I have some work to do on that front. This is the fourth item I’ve made (that’s not a shawl, scarf, wrap, etc). And I made a too big size. However, my sweetheart was kind enough to model.
I’ve been busy trying to finish up a few projects these last few months. I finally got the rest of the AT-ATs finished. Two grey ones get to go to their new home eventually. Well, one for sure. I still have three other things to make to go with the other one so that’s going to be a bit. Also, because there is snow on the ground still, I’m totally going to recreate a scene from Hoth.
We’re getting another front of snow that’s looking to be at least another foot altogether. My phone will not stop buzzing with warnings about roads. I wish it was lighter outside though, Tyr absolutely adores the snow and could probably play nonstop in it.
I managed to post four times in September between everything going on, and I’ve decided to take that as a victory. This month, I’m going to make it to the magical number of 5 posts.
Truthfully though, I’m exhausted. We’ve had so much going on between personal life and work; and there is so much more in the foreseeable future. Thinking about it makes me feel more exhausted. What makes this even worse is I have no idea how to summarize any of the going-ons that have been happening in a coherent manner. So a few of the more positive highlights that I feel pretty darn proud of:
So one of my last projects I did before giving my hand a break is this attempt at a dragon. He’s cute, but there are, like most of my creations, a few things I would of done differently. For now, he’s cute and likes hanging out on potted plants and the back of a couch.
